The Good Samaritans Annual Gala will be held on Saturday, February 11, 2012 at the Hyatt Regency Cincinnati.
Guests are invited to enjoy this 28th annual event, Groovy Blast from the Past, which will begin with a cocktail
reception, followed by dinner and then dancing. Besides dancing, many groovy surprises are planned throughout
the evening to keep our guests entertained.
Attendance and support of the 2012 will help this new, unique center that utilizes volunteer physicians,
incorporates the medical home model of care with electronic medical records and is now using group visits to
address the need for education about chronic health conditions like diabetes.
Corporate sponsors for the event, to date, include, AK Steel, Fifth Third Bank, Group Health Associates
Physicians and Surgeons, SC Ministry Foundation, and Sisters of Charity.
President of The Good Samaritans and Gala Chair, Mrs. Renita Homan and co-chair Mrs. Cyndi Cappel,
are working with physician champion Marc A. Alexander, MD to promote this event in the medical
community.
The Good Samaritans are a dedicated volunteer organization of the Good Samaritan Hospital Foundation; members
include those with ties to the medical and business community. Through their annual Galas, The Good Samaritans
have raised a total of $5.2 million to help Good Samaritan Hospital improve the availability and quality of health
care for the people of Greater Cincinnati. This year's Gala proceeds will benefit Good Samaritan Free Health
Center of Price Hill and Medical Education Research Fund.
Tickets range in price from $500 to $1,000 per couple. In addition, there are a variety of corporate sponsorship
