On Friday, May 9, 2008, the Good Samaritan Hospital Foundation paid tribute to the 2008 Women of Compassion at a luncheon at the Queen City Club. Many of the honorees and their nominators are Good Samaritan Hospital employees or volunteers and several are Good Samaritan Hospital School of Nursing graduates.  The event featured a luncheon, followed by the recognition program. Sheree Paolello, co-anchor for WLWT-Channel 5, served as the emcee for the event. During the program, a tribute was read for each of the honorees.
