Celebrating Cardiac Care and Healthy Hearts

On April 14, 2011, the Good Samaritan Hospital Foundation presented its 12th annual Celebration of the Heart.  More than 180 former cardiac patients, supporters and interested friends attended this event.

Jim Wainscott, Chairman of the Foundation’s Board of Trustees, began the event by giving an update on the Foundation’s financial support for the hospital.  Dave Dornheggen, Chief Operating Officer of Good Samaritan Hospital gave an update on the building expansion going on at the hospital.

J. Michael Smith, MD talked about High Tech in the Operating Room and Cath Lab…..Where We Are Going.  Dogan Temizer, MD, continued this discussion.  John Wilson, MD, spoke about High Tech: Heart Failure and Jayne Miller, Manager Navigator Program spoke about High Touch: Heart Failure and explained the Navigator Program.
