On Tuesday, April 21, 2009, the Good Samaritan Hospital Foundation held its’ annual Celebration of the Heart Event in the Good Samaritan Hospital Conference Center located on level 4. The event took place from 5:15pm to 7:30pm.

The program featured speakers including; Dave Dornheggen, Dogan Temizer, MD, J. Michael Smith, MD and John Wilson, MD. Topics included:

• Pre-hospital Care and Acute Care in Heart Attack
• Cardiac Surgery Update
• Heart Failure and Devices to Improve Symptons
• Secondary Prevention, Life After Surgery
